I tried explaining this to a few “seminarians” in 2007 or 2008. One of them DID read on in a particular article (don’t know if I can find it).

There WAS video of an MH-6 unloading men with weapons. Can’t find it at the moment. May look a bit more.
People were going to the grocery stores, work, etc. and the helo’s landed without any warning. They were practicing in case of riots at the Dem convention, IIRC.
And then, low and behold, I’m driving into work one morning in 2008 and they’re talking about black helicopters in Denver (Democrat convention).
Me, I just like tinfoil hats, shiny side out.
