The Senate confirmed seven of President Trumps district court nominees on Tuesday after Republicans struck a deal with Democrats to shorten the usual vote times.
And the GOP set up another eight votes on district judges for next week, when the Senate returns after a brief Labor Day vacation.
The seven approved this week now give Mr. Trump 35 districts court judges approved so far. Hes also won 26 judges to federal circuit courts appeals, and one Supreme Court justice.

“after Republicans struck a deal with Democrats to shorten the usual vote times.”
Any deal struck with the Rats is bound to be bad news for the country.
How many blocked, and how many delayed longer than usual (ie, still waiting)?
McConnell gettin it done!!

Meanwhile.... The Beat Goes On!
The real business of the Trump Team has not been stopped.
I agree.....they repeat his stuff as if incapable of having their own opinion... but then they are ‘hooked’ in a big way so think everyone else is in the dark.
I vacillate between astonishment and embarrassment when it comes to Q followers. A lot of them are great people otherwise. The reveal is going to be brutal for them.
Susan Baxter, Western District of Pennsylvania [first nominated in 2015 by 0bama]
Barry W. Ashe, Eastern District of Louisiana
James R. Sweeney II, Southern District of Indiana

Thanks, FRiend...Good post!
Struck a deal???? You’re the majority for Christs sake! Mitch is a bitch!
“Any deal struck with the Rats is bound to be bad news for the country.”
Not necessarily, given McConnell’s record on judges starting with Scalia. It may be the Red State Democrats DEMANDING to get cut loose so they can try to campaign for re-election, and thus the Dem party looking for a way out without fully capitulating.
But, obviously, we don’t know anything yet...but still nice to see a bunch of judges get seated.
I’m happy to see it but Circuit Judges and obviously SCOTUS judges are vastly more important. The 26 Circuit Court Judges seated so far are a good start - about halfway to balancing out the damage Obama was able to do to the Circuit Courts with his 55 appointees.
Anyone who’s ever heard of the 9th Circuit knows that.
I’m still not sick of winning!
