WSJ: Five Republican Senators Met With Sessions, Urged Him Not to Quit

Five Republican senators had breakfast with Attorney General Jeff Sessions last week and encouraged him to not resign despite constant pressure from President Donald Trump.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Sessions invited Sens. John Cornyn of Texas, Thom Tillis of North Carolina, Jerry Moran of Kansas, Ben Sasse of Nebraska, and John Kennedy of Louisiana to dine with him last Thursday morning at the Department of Justice. The meeting took place in Sessions' dining room and included a lengthy discussion about Trump's repeated attacks on him.

The senators, according to the Journal, urged Sessions to keep doing what he's been doing and stay on the job, at least through the November midterms.

Sessions said he is growing tired of Trump berating him over the Russia investigation, from which Sessions recused himself because he played a role on the Trump campaign. Trump has not let up on that point for a year-and-a-half.

Sessions is the perfect Federal government employee. He sits on his ass all day long doing nothing and you can’t fire him.

Huber is the US Atty in Utah. What did Ohr do in Utah?

If you mean Huber and his ‘special status’, he is on the AG’s ‘US Attorney Advisory Committee’, which is charged with making recommendations about matters that have been overlooked in investigations. Huber is not a Special Counsel or Special Prosecutor.

The conspiracy against Trump is part of the cover up for the Kenyanesian Usurpation and the myriad crimes committed by the Kenyanesian Usurper and his minions.

BOTH parties conspired to violate the Constitution.

Barack Obama is NOT a natural born citizen.

Did they at least give him caffeine and a set of law books?

Friggin’ clown-ass guy should be ostracized for being a feckless derelict. Cripes, the felonies are already out there discussed in detail on TV and online for public consumption, yet Sessions can’t seem to bring himself around to filing charges against the felons.

Guarantee he’s going to be begging for everyone’s pity when he claims to be suffering from some form of dementia in the next year or two.

I believe sessions is the insurance policy the conspirators talked about. He recused himself from the Russia investigation but that doesn't explain why he won't go after the treason that was committed against president Trump. We have a cabal of criminals in our government that needs to be prosecuted and removed from power.

Hey Jeff, it is more than the Russia investigation, it is corruption in the FBI and DOJ. By the way these Senators want to make me puke.
