I hope not. We need to get rid of ideological justices. What I hope he does is shifts the court rule of law under the US constitution and the laws dutifully enacted by the legislature in conformance with constitutional provisions and limitations.

No mention of what the other half of the “deal” was. Did McConnell trade something?
Looks to me like he traded time to the RATs for campaigning, this really isn’t a big deal because these judges were going to be confirmed anyway.
He gave them a few more days in their state for campaigning for those up for re-election.
FTA: Brian Fallon, the executive director of Demand Justice, a group leading opposition to Kavanaugh’s nomination, said an extra few days on the campaign trail isn’t worth the impact on the federal judiciary.
“Trading this many lifetime positions away for a couple days back home in the dead of August is a metaphor for how myopic the Democrats’ approach has been at this dark moment in history,” he said in a statement.

Purely a survival move as the Democrats cannot afford to be stuck in DC fighting losing battles when they could be out fighting for their periled seats.

Kavanaugh is getting confirmed... and the left base is so idiotic and insane they are going to spend September and part of October displaying just how bat poop crazy they are... which will almost certainly drive Higher turnout for folks voting GOP this fall...
Actually the closer the Kavanaugh confirmation date is to the election date. the worst the Dems will do... because their bases antics will anger and motivate the non traditional voters to show up for the sole purpose to vote against them.
He should answer all of their questions the same way, Well if you bothered to work and represent your constituents and earned your pay by meeting with me, you would have already known the answer to your question.
