I like to watch this Invisible People series on You Tube. A lot of very neat people on the streets with some amazing stories.
Just saw this one today. I was watching and thinking what a cool, smart guy he is.
Towards the ending he tells the interviewer he is a Trump supporter so I thought I would share with FR,
but I was impressed with him anyway even before he said he was a supporter.
I hope he can get his health back fully and get off the streets. This video was made back in April so not sure what his circumstances are today.
Amazing fact: He survived cancer. Twice.
More Amazing fact: He survived living on the streets in Detroit.
I have a theory about cancer. Besides inheriting cancer-prone genes, about which one can do nothing, weighing less by a few pounds than recommended weight from tables, cuts down risk of developing cancer.
Which means your body does not have excess proteins and fat and glucose to feed cancer cells who are known to require much more nutrition than normal cells.
Yep. He’s been out there a long time. Geez, amazing upbeat attitude on that fellow. I’m wishing the best for him.
One more good reason to lose weight.
Very interesting. I hope someone makes sure he gets that church open to help people
I don’t think the interviewer likes Trump.
He cut the homeless man off.
Interesting mention of Street Medicine Detroit. It’s good that the man can get some care.
Seems like he’s got a very good heart and mind. Hoping his dream to help people will come to fruition.
Yeah, not sure about the guy that does this series and his political affiliation. He does good work, though. He goes all over the country and world to interview people. I can kinda understand why he would want to keep it off of politics, but I’m glad William got in a plug for Trump and a dig on socialism and Obama. And not a harsh dig either. Just stating what he believes.
Bkmrk.
Anyone got an inside track to Trump? Send him this video.

I met William while out on the streets with Street Medicine Detroit, a student-run nonprofit that provides healthcare to homeless people in Detroit. The medical students and the nurse practitioner were talking to a homeless man at an exit ramp when William walked up pushing his shopping cart. William knew the medical team, saying hello with a big smile on his face as he approached.
I talked to William a little bit at the exit ramp. He told me he was in a hurry to get to his spot. William continued that if I walk down to meet him there, he would give me a more extended interview.
William has lived homeless in Detroit since July of 2009. A few years's prior, he lost his house to foreclosure. William was one of the millions of people that were sold a bad mortgage that was impossible to pay back.
William says that each year he lives on the streets homeless his health keeps deteriorating. William has survived cancer twice. He suffers from COPD, a chronic inflammatory lung disease that causes obstructed airflow from the lungs.
You know, there are so many good people who have fallen by the wayside. Its the reason I am so supportive of President Trump. I know that he cares as much as I do about good people who just need a bit of encouragement and a chance.
It was demonstrated years ago that slightly underweight mice lived significantly longer than even average weight mice. So, you live longer hungry. This doesnt seem fair.
Thank you for posting, very uplifting guy. I pray he’s somehow able to get that house for the homeless he talks about toward the end of the interview and run it himself. What a loving heart!
Wish that were true for my sister who died of cancer years ago. She was a skinny child, a skinny teenager, and a skinny adult. I always envied her for that.
Hey-I was born fat and bald and I reckon I’ll be going out the same way. I’m somewhat allergic to hunger!
Years's?
Just posted it the way it was presented.
