Sarah Palin Not Invited to John McCain Memorial, Funeral Services: Report

ohn McCain’s vice presidential running mate Sarah Palin was not invited to attend his memorial or funeral services, reported NBC’s Kelly O’Donnell.

MSNBC booking producers Jesse Rodriguez and Michael Del Mouro first reported on O’Donnell’s scoop, tweeting, “NBC’s @KellyO reports: Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin has not been invited to attend memorial services for John McCain” and “No invitation has yet been extended to former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to attend McCain’s memorial services, sources tell NBC’s @KellyO.”

Had Palin not been picked, or declined McCain’s offer, she would had been a successful two term governor and most likely a senator from Alaska.

She did a lot for the cause and for McCain. She’s been classy in this whole matter.

But let no good deed go unpunished. When she was given the bum’s rush out of the governor’s house, the blood libel, MSM attacks, and RINO insults, she still kept fighting for us.

And to those “friends” she help elect? Where were they when Giffords was shot and the MSM called Palin a quasi co-conspirator? NOWHERE. They ran for the tall grass.

NIkki Haley? Cruz? GONZO!!!! Her only friends were a few talk show hosts and Alan Dershowitz (not to mention her rank and file supporters).

To paraphrase Obama....”you can see a direct line from Palin, the Tea Party to Trump. She played an important role which set up a future Trump candidacy. Someone had to light a spark under the conservative base and Palin did so.

Both Admirals McCain, his father and grandfather, appear to have been admirable men AFAIK.

She campaigned for him, which maybe she had to do, maybe she felt she owed him, which was honorable, I guess, though many believed at the time that she owed a bigger debt to the preservation of our Republic. So she did that, she honored her benefactor. But then she went completely off the deep end and praised him for being a great conservative.

So ok, dump on me for criticizing Palin, who I still love and admire, but I’m not the one dis-inviting her from the Great Conservative’s funeral.

Just like McCain from the grave saying Trump can’t come to his funeral.

It’s good to see America loving Patriots being dissed by McCain even after he is dead.

As I said on another thread on this subject, I was going easy on McCain at this time. His family is grieving, and he doubtless did some good things with his life, such as staying on at the Hanoi Hilton rather than cashing in his connections chit to get out. However, after this awful snub, it's back to thinking of him as a vindictive little prick. And I'm not sure his surviving family is much better, either.
