Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, who was Sen. John McCain (R-AZ)’s running mate in the 2008 presidential election, has been excluded from his funeral. Breitbart News has independently confirmed an earlier report in People magazine, which reported that Palin was not sent an invitation, and was told through intermediaries to stay away from the ceremony.
McCain fundraiser Carla Eudy confirmed to People that Palin had not been invited — possibly, People speculated, at the behest of the McCain family.
The news comes on the tenth anniversary of the date in 2008 when Palin was announced as McCain’s pick for Vice President.
Palin now joins President Donald Trump on the list of those barred from the funeral.
But unlike Trump, Palin never feuded with McCain and never criticized him.
When news broke on Saturday of McCain’s passing, Palin said: “Today we lost an American original. Sen. John McCain was a maverick and a fighter, never afraid to stand for his beliefs. John never took the easy path in life — and through sacrifice and suffering he inspired others to serve something greater than self.
“John McCain was my friend. I will remember the good times. My family and I send prayers for Cindy and the McCain family.”

My bumper sticker said, “I’m voting for Sarah” .............................. That sticker was why he was so bitter, she was drawing larger crowds. People lined up to see and hear her, not him. He was like having a weasel for President and a dull one at that. Did any family members of the sailors who lost their lives on that ship where he caused the disaster attend? I bet not. You know that officer in the service who thought the world of himself that you wanted to pound into the ground? (Not me) He struck me as that type.

Mcstain and his scum only got votes back then because of Sarah. I wasn’t voting Mcstain, I was voting Palin. And in his death; that family fully reveal themselves and their ilk.

I’m sure he did. He had plenty of time. Most Presidents plan their funerals so he had to plan his. How the hell many services is he having? about three times as many as Reagan had. Why must the burial be a whole day after the funeral?? what will they do with or to him in between? I hope they prepared him right —so he doesn’t stink as much as he did when alive.

I agree 100%. I was one of a few hundred...maybe a 1000 that knew she was it the night before it was announced. I was so happy as I’d been following her career. I still love her and was so happy the next day to see a coworker had taped her pic on her office door. I exclaimed...omg you know who she is too! Happy memory!

IMO, the “invitations” is a way of making excuses when so few people attend the funeral...They can now say the funeral was small because that’s all we invited, but thousands wanted to come......
If they want to keep the eulogies short, they should make the people giving the eulogies swear under oath to the FBI to the truth of the eulogy to be given.
