Well, willing to lose some for a “righteous” cause is okay I guess. You know, back in the 1950s kids did target practice with rifles and arrows and mass murder in school hardly ever happened. Wonder why?

I went to a two room country school, back in the 50s. We had a strict gun policy: Anyone bringing a gun to school had to unload it, and leave it in the coat room. Part of the reason for this was because there were some in the school who could only get meat for supper if they shot it on the way home.

No one dared to shoot up a school then - there were too many who would shoot back.

This is what happens when afer a generation of children are given "participation trophies" for losing, i.e. they don't know how to cope with and overcome failure ...
