Joshua Kelley, otherwise known by his drag name "Harpy Daniels," is serving looks while serving the country. Stationed on a ship in Yokosuka, Japan, the 24-year-old performs for his fellow Navy sailors while also fulfilling the role of his squadron’s administrative supervisor by day.

“My biggest performances here are the lip sync competitions we hold to build up morale," Kelley told NBC News.

Ok fruit cup...thanks for the show.

In my day, if you were dressed up like that, you had GD well better be crossing the equator the next day....I’m just say’n.

But that was a different Navy and a different time I suppose.

Out!

My Navy is not what it used to be. Sad. And Sick. Where’s a good old fashioned dishonorable discharge when it is needed?

“He doesn’t have more than seven years service.”

Article says “it” joined the Navy 2 years ago. The job title is probably some puffery from NBC. And I’m sure they know “puffery”...

As an old Airman, this reminds me of a few jokes we had about the NAVY. Which I wont repeat here.

It's one thing to have a guy doing a humorous impersonation of a woman (think Luther Billis in "South Pacific") but this goes way beyond that. This sick freak needs a blanket party.

Thanks, I missed that.

Even during the Vietnam era, you were doing well to make E-5 in two.

I think you’re right: it’s just the dumbass NBC cretins getting things wrong.

Klinger and everyone at the MASH knew he was faking it to get out of the army. These freaks aren’t faking their mental illness.

When Kelley joined the Navy, just like his father had, he said he was hoping to get out of his small town and challenge himself. He said he was a bit nervous about meeting all the new people, and he knew not everyone would be as colorful and flamboyant as he is. He was pleased, however, when he found acceptance.

His shipmates have been bullied by the system into compliance and silence, or else they lose their jobs, reputations, and future career prospects while the morale-destroyers are enabled by "the Navy's Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) department."

Forced tolerance and compliance is only "acceptance" in a delusional, corrupted mind.

I pity the shipmate who is mentally pushed over the edge by the forced embracing of depravity in close-quarters. Then it's the precious harpy who becomes the victim. The agenda sets up that scenario intentionally to advance itself by subterfuge, creating exceedingly hostile work environments for normal people so that someone will inevitably snap.

If Harpy knew he were being played, perhaps he'd chose to keep his song to himself. Little does he know that his handlers eagerly await news of his demise.

I wonder if the FR adminstrators could come up with a button we could press to automatically post that GIF of Putin laughing? It would save us a lot of time...

Just looking at the faces of those in the background of the photo with the article, they appear to be less than enthused with the performance.
