The Ford arena where the rally is being held has a capacity of 11,000 — it’s jam packed, there’s standing room only and they’re setting up big screens outside for the overflow crowd. Wow.
I’ll assume the POTUS won’t be speaking until after the Arrival Ceremonies for McCain’s Body back in D.C. are over.
They are putting him in the Hearst as I type this, so it looks like good timing for the POTUS.

Also, I noticed (while channel surfing) that during the service at North Phoenix Baptist Church today, the lights in the sanctuary were off, there was only lights on stage. You could not see how full the church was.
Gee, I wonder why that was—other than this large church (which holds 3500) was probably more than half empty.
