I don’t know if that’s the sentiment. I think by being “softer” than Trump, it might serve him well. It might endear some of the people that are having “Trump remorse”. In other words, cross over appeal? I’m just guessing. We didn’t see too much of Pence. I could see him saying “If I could work with Trump I can work with anyone”
The problem is, if Trump is impeached (I’d be shocked if that happens) it could tarnish Pence too come re-election time.
Cut the softer stuff. We don’t need weenies in the fight for this country.
Pence is best where he is at.
I have met quite a few who have the opposite. Those who regret not voting for for him.
Older women like him. He’s like the dreamy fantasy husband or daddy figure they are angry they didn’t get.
But he’s nothing but a neocon if you ask me.
Right outta the chute, He stabbed Flynn in the back so the establishment could bring in the McMaster wing and change Trump’s foreign policy. Flynn didn’t lie and Pence did his first establishment dirty work by saying he did. He knew damn good and well that Flynn told the Russian ambassador “I cannot discuss that. That sanctions topic will be for the future”. Pence claimed -saying- you can’t discuss it, is discussing it.
VERY late to the party on immigration and is/was an amnesty type.
Has completely failed as Trumps “attack dog” in defending him, and lining up the Senate for his agenda. He’s a weak sister.
Is all in for no-fly’s in Syria, regime change on Assad, global trade treaties, and a new cold war with Russia, and this loon still fantasizes that Sevastopol might still become a NATO navy base when Russia realizes that their being there since the -1790s- doesn’t count.
I think Pence is to Trump, as Bush was to Reagan.
