Activist and Freedom Watch founder Larry Klayman is suing Google, Facebook, Twitter and Apple in federal court in Washington on behalf of hundreds of members of a class of politically conservative organizations.
The class-action complaint filed Wednesday focuses on the documented reports of bias and censorship against the tech industry.
Common questions of fact and law exist as to all class members, including, but not limited to, whether defendants are engaging in illegal suppression and censorship of political conservative content, the complaint states.
Klayman, the founder also of Judicial Watch who is known for taking on the Washington establishment, explained the claims are typical of all of the claims of the respective class that it seeks to represent and Freedom Watch has no interests adverse to the interest of the other members of the class, insofar as its injuries are substantially similar to those suffered by the other members of the class.
The complaint points out that separate actions would result in inconsistent or varying adjudication.
It has been revealed that defendants, each and every one of them, have engaged in a conspiracy to intentionally and willfully suppress political conservative content, the claim states.
This conspiracy has resulted in severe financial loss, as well as unconstitutional suppression of speech and other content, for Freedom Watch and those similarly situated.
It accuse the tech companies of acting in concert with CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times and the Washington Post, all of whom are owned and/or managed by persons with a leftist political ideology.
Klayman contends their ultimate objective is to take down President Donald Trump and his administration with the intent and purpose to have installed leftist government in the nations capital and the 50 states.

What if this backfires and impacts sites such as this or other message boards/forums that will suspend/ban based on content?
I applaud the effort, but can anyone remember a case where Klayman prevailed?
Google, Facebook, Twitter and Apple will have to say ,if you sign up with us remember it’s not a Democracy it’s a Dictatorship
Ya, Klayman's kind of a private sector Issa or Gowdy. Tom Fitton has done an infinitely better job than Klayman but he's got a pretty full plate as is.
When I joined these services I had the expectation that content would be delivered in unbiased ways and that the voice of one person or organization was equal to the voice of another. Would I have joined if I knew I would be manipulated and forced to conform to ideology that I disagree with?
Here is a question-The EEOC provided protection under the following types of discrimination.
Age
Disability
Equal Pay/Compensation
Genetic Information
Harassment
National Origin
Pregnancy
Race/Color
Religion
Retaliation
Sex
Sexual Harassment
If description is correct there is protection against discrimination so what makes these companies think they can discriminate out in the open without repercussions
Wonder if Prager U. is on board?
Good job.

“What if this backfires and impacts sites such as this or other message boards/forums that will suspend/ban based on content?”
It will.
The law cannot apply to one select group of online forums while others are exempt.
The “Well they are bigger and more popular and this is private property” excuse wont save FR from a similar lawsuit.
“When I joined these services I had the expectation that content would be delivered in unbiased ways and that the voice of one person or organization was equal to the voice of another. “
Unless that was clearly stipulated in the EULA or equivalent, then you went in with only expectations you made up for yourself.
When has this jack-off ever won a case? Better to give it to Tom Fitton.
Bias is wrong and needs to be addressed. The challenge for the big sites, for google especially is that they want the benefits of managing content yet don't want to be responsible for it. Either they are a delivery service or they are content owners. As content owners they can be sued for what they post or allow.

and GETS RESULTS!!!
IT. IS. TIME.
It is time for a high court to rule these two PLATFORMS are PUBLIC UTILITIES and be held to the same standards as telecommunication companies WHO ARE NOT PERMITTED TO TAP INTO YOUR PHONE DISCUSSION AND TERMINATE YOUR CONNECTION BECAUSE THEY DISAGREE WITH YOUR COMMENTS!!!
These are PLATFORMS not FORUMS. BIG difference!!!
FR is a FORUM!!!
I'd love to see liberals posting on Free Republic without the ability to block, shadowban, jury posts, and all the there "safe space" tools they utilize to ensure their messages go unchallenged.
I'm not afraid of liberals posting here. I think it would be fun!
But there are many that seem to be. There have been many zots over the years of people who were clearly libs. They were outed and they were quickly dispatched. There have been a few over the years that have been given some leeway because they tread gingerly.
Only in fundraising (and/or) fleecing fools. Little Tommy Fitton is now carrying the torch
BTW I have a friend who gave Klayman $10,000 when he was investigating Clinton, but when my friend ran for office and asked Klayman for a donation he got nothing! Not even 5 bucks!!!
