I’m sure it doesn’t matter to them if they make money or not. I think making a politically correct film is the important thing — it sort of transcends the idea of “profit”. Right? Right?

The flag is the star of the show IMO. What’s a movie without stars? Hollywood trash.

Perhaps Ryan should get the F out and go back to Canada..!!

Oh, I get it...
Neil, YOU DID’T PLANT THAT FLAG.
It was a global achievement.
The left is mentally sick with envy.

Gaze upon this, Gosling.

Silly! That's because the Canadarm, as all Canadian schoolchildren are taught, was the true heart of the "U.S." space program. Indeed, without these two bits of aluminum joined by a hinge and wrapped in duct tape and a sticker bearing the proud the name of our Home and Native Land, there might not have been a space program at all! Its there are any questions about these facts, please ask the guitar-playing Canadian astronaut - Today's "Yuri Gagarin," or "Neil Armstrong," who guided American engineers, rocket scientists, physicists, earlier astronauts, mathematicians, computer programmers, inventors, flight controllers, materials experts, etc., on the path to putting him up into space with his Canadian guitar.

It WAS an American achievement. The movie tries to remake history, but it won’t wprk.

I’ll pass on this but why are they only chastising the actor? What about the writer and producer/director? I’m not giving the actor’s stupid comments a pass, but if the movie was written this way, the blame goes to all involved.

Ryan Gosling saying that the American moon landing transcended countries and borders, and that instead of being an American achievement, it was a human achievement. A caller to today's Limbaugh show was correct when he said that was a "space race" between the United States and the Soviet Union; between Kennedy and Kruschev; between Yuri Gagarin and John Glenn; between the achievements of capitalism versus communism.
It was not humanity coming together for the future of mankind.

Sorry, Gosling, but there are only American companies on this
list of contractors and subcontractors for the Saturn V rocket.
This
list shows only US companies built the CSM.

[The Canadian actor also acknowledged his own cognitive bias due to his nationality.]
Yeah, we had a pResident who was the same way.
Oh, but he was an American. He always did the best for America that he could. He never lied like “If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor”.
