Republican strategist Karl Rove ripped into President Donald Trump on “America’s Newsroom” Friday for considering a Justice Department investigation of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
“I think it’s unwise for any president of any party to look like he is demanding that the Justice Department investigate his political opponents,” Rove said.
“It is just unseemly. I think a good test of this is turnabout. What if Hillary Clinton had won the election? Would we be excited about Hillary Clinton calling upon her attorney general to investigate Donald Trump over the meeting at the Trump Tower?”
Rove said that’s not the way “we do things” in America and advised Trump to stop talking about a possible Clinton investigation altogether.

Yeah, we pick and choose. Laura Ingraham must have gotten a lot of negative mail -— she had some sour-faced democrat on last night, who was trying to drag up Columbia, south Carolina, in a totally unrelated topic. She didn’t let him get in his spiel, and cut him off every time he tried. He turned dark red, and I thought he’d burst a blood vessel. Usually, she lets liberals rant, then chirps, “Great segment, guys!”. And thankfully, she hasn’t had Phillipe Reinnes on, since he stood outside the white house with a bullhorn, screaming “**** you, Donald Trump!”.
I actually kind of agree, it looks purely political. That said, with all that we have seen as of late... I dont feel so strongly that way anymore.
I think this is the same Karl Rove that Sean Hannity used to fawn over almost daily on the radio and the reason I can’t stomach Sean “I’m so humble” Hannity. You know, his buddy “The Architect”, the only person on earth he wouldn’t interrupt? That Karl Rove.
