A couple of years ago, I was listening to an interview of a guy who needed knee surgery in the UK....they wouldn’t approve unless he lost near 70 pounds of weight. He ended up going to Bombay to some private clinic and paying for out of his own pocket (staying in some four-star hotel for rehab for three weeks).
