neither the lying leftist fake stream enemedia nor most of the big-wigs at this funeral give two hoots about John Mccain ... they hated his guts and attacked him as an “extremist” Republican when he ran against obama ... and there was nothing really special about John McCain as a legislator other than the fact that he was virulently anti-Trump and single-handedly prevented the abolition of obamacare ... John McCain was a petty, jealous, globalist, Uniparty sellout, and these universal over-the-top eulogies are nothing more than an attempt to keep this deceased anti-Trumper in the headlines for a few more days as a means to advertise his from-beyond-the grave anti-Trump “documentaries” before everyone completely forgets that John McCain ever existed ...

I agree with you - sex, taxes and death have no place at a funeral. Politics is absolutely on the list too.

The GOP never wanted working class social Conservatives joining their party of martini sipping, wife swapping, country clubbers. But they need their votes. So they pay lip service to old fashioned values during election season.
Then they turn around and say and do nothing when the Democrats, the media, Hollywood, and academia trash religious Christians and people with small town values who live in the heartland.
Then they say “you see, if you want Republicans to win elections, you need to vote for the GOPe types, because at least we don’t scare the ‘soccer moms’ like those anti-immigrant rednecks”.
Some of could have predicted at least some of this based on Bush’s record as TX governor, and a few somewhat obscure actions as President. I believe it was the head of the TX teacher’s union who once referred to Bush as a “Texas Democrat”. The man was big government through and through. Some of his former big supporters say that he is a “moderate”. They simply don’t want to admit their mistakes.
Bush got a lot of mileage out of pretending to be an actual conservative Christian, too.
Not to worry, I expect the news will only get worse for the Dems between now and election day, as the corruption is revealed in ways even the MSM won't be able to hide. Once Kavanaugh is confirmed and a new Congress seated with even larger R majorities you can expect the real takedown of the deep state to begin in earnest.
By the time 2020 rolls around I don't expect there to be much left.
LOL, between McCain and Aretha Franklin, we were treated to Trump bashing at funerals in stereo! And both funerals were held in States that Trump won.
