Agree. Hmmm... Maybe Ted would make a good AG (until his appointment to the Supreme Court, of course...)

“... I would be ready to sacrifice Trump to Mueller if...”

I agree, the whole thing is unconstitutional - starting with there is no check/balance to hold accountable as we are now seeing.

I disagree on your offer to sacrifice Trump to remedy the situation. His election was constitutional. That is too small a price to pay in exchange for Trump. Besides, Trump was elected on the platform to end the corruption. I would give nothing and demand in addition to Mueller, Obama, Lynch, Comey, HRC, Senator Warner (from VA who tried secretly to meet Steele), Strozk, Rosenweasel, McCain’s corpse (passed on the dossier),...and Sessions resign.

Unfortunately, while the bully pulpit is important, unless there is action to follow those words, Trump looks like a President not in charge of his own government.

And who is holding the puppet strings of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court?

We still don’t have that answer but likely the same one who made him give us Obamacare.

Pardon my naivety. Can some explain to me why Twitter messages are listed twice in articles like this? Seems like a waste of time and words.

There must be a more formal way to do this than asking on Twitter. Can’t he order a federal prosecutor to file a brief?

This is where he gets frustrating sometimes...

That would be a great start. Asking questions is not going anywhere. Waiting for the Indictment Fairy is silly. Arrest these scumbags and make them fight. Not sure what people are waiting for. Lock up all DS and the Media. Trump should be suing on the Fake news that is not corrected and/or thrown out there and corrected numerous times in formality. Enough is enough.

It seems appropriate to post Amendment 4 of the US Constitution. The FISA Court needs to explain how their actions did not violate this amendment.

“””The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”””

“wouldn’t that be a sight to behold, Cruz being sworn in and these traitors you know what in their pants”.

What would do it is having Joe Degenova as AG.

This is how Trump operates. And he does it very well.

His Tweets aren't just random thoughts or angry outbursts. This is just not a way for the president to get his message out to the media and the people but allows him to massage the people and situations to his liking before he deals with them.

They are intended to get his message out but, more importantly, to identify, manipulate and position the players on the map where he wants them. He puts them of the defensive.

His public Tweets aren't substitutes for picking up the phone or writing a memo. There is a method to his madness. If your name shows up on the wrong end of his Tweets, I'd be worried.

All this would not have come to light if they had just let Trump alone to do his job as POTUS as he was legally elected to do. Unfortunately for the dems and the deep state, their efforts to get rid of Trump with this phoney investigation has exposed massive corruption at the highest levels of the Obama administration. This would have been buried still if not for their hatred of Trump. Serves them right.

You sure post comments which are never in agreement with the President, or conservative views. Are you just a troll posting in a way which will not get you banned.?

No argument there. So fire Sessions and replace him with someone who will reform the DOJ and bring it back into line.

The FISA judge uses a “rubber stamp”.

As has been reported this weekend, that happened to the Trump campaign. It was also reported that holding formal hearing was not necessary under FISA. I can see in certain cases where a “paper review” could be sufficient - some lower life form potential enemy of the US.

But what was the reason a judge would rubber stamp a FISA application without a formal hearing when it involved the candidate for the office of the US Presidency? The significance of the FISA application should have demanded nothing but a formal hearing - which could have included pulling in “every signer” on the document to under oath and outside of the presence of the other to attest to what was being asked of the court.

Under separation of powers doctrine, the judge won’t be force to testify. By rubber stamping, the judge may be rightfully criticized publicly for acting improperly and for vacating the judiciary’s independence. By not initiating contempt proceeding for perjury, especially before Trump’s tweeting on the matter, the judge is in a political box now. To act now, the judge will be accused by the left as being intimidated by the President and all judicial actions to redress the criminal act on the court will be denounced. To not act now, the judge will be accused of being “in on it” by the right as is being done for quite a while now.

Perhaps as this thing unfolds, a evidence about how the judges operate under FISA will emerge independently, and specific to the judges that were involved in the spying on Trump under the cover of a false FISA application. Was the judge (1) incompetent (i.e. failed to recognize the significance of the request), (2) was the system “rigged”, always giving into the executive branch and FISA as a process has failed to protect US citizens in practice, (3) was the judge “in on it” - being part of the nefarious actors’ illegal use of the government powers to spy on a Presidential candidate?

The fact that Obama spied on members of the US Senate, foreign leaders (remember how upset Merkel was?), wanted to monitor the press, and used the IRS to learn about and harass his political opposition ... should tell any FISA judge who kept up on current events, that a FISA application involving the opposing party’s nominee for President needs something more than a rubber stamp to consider. The judge should resign at least for the appearance of incompetence.
