Ocasio-Cortez mocks GOP for 'corny' attacks on Beto O'Rourke

New York Democratic congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez mocked the GOP on Thursday for “corny” attacks against Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) that invoked his former band.
The Texas Republican Party took a shot at O’Rourke’s 1990s punk band called Foss on Twitter this week after he refused to debate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), whose seat O'Rourke is running for, by tweeting, "Maybe Beto can’t debate Ted Cruz because he already had plans."
“Why is the GOP so corny?” Ocasio-Cortez asked on Thursday.

Agreed. I give politicians a plus/minus rating. Donald J. Trump gets a 10. RINO Republicans, swishy conservatives, etc. get a 0. Democrats get a -10. I will vote for a 0 over a -10.
Besides, RINO Republicans tend to follow the Alpha Male, especially if they're rapped on the nose with a newspaper. The RINO Republicans in 2019 will fall into line after we pick up 65 House and 12 Senate seats in the 2018 elections.

I originally supported Cruz, disliked his acceptance of Beck’s adulation and switched my support happily to Trump for the primary vote.
But there is no WAY I will vote for Beto or not vote at all. Texas needs Cruz. I can’t even comprehend why a supposed conservative would support Beto by voting for him or by not voting in the general.
