Flux density in milliwatts/sq.cm. should be pretty easy to measure. Can be compared to ambient levels to detect beamed microwave radiation. Not difficult to measure and compare.

I heard an alarming radio interview about the wavelength being so narrow it fits into the brain wave one and thus could cause cancer as everyone speculates.
