I beg to differ. Why don’t the Church allow priests to marry like they did until the middle ages? Celibacy encourages homosexuals to apply for the priesthood.
Priests in the eastern church are allowed to marry and guess what, the eastern church (sometimes called orthodox) doesnt have this problem.
The socialist religion has been so dominant in western cultures over the last century that normal young men were discouraged from entering the priesthood. The RCC then became so desperate for priests to fill the pulpits that it accepted anyone into its seminaries. Soon the all male seminaries turned into homosexual clubs.
Deacon’s can marry. That is the avenue if celibacy is not in the cards.
Anyone who is married and has a family knows the distractions that come up time and again. And without warning many times.
That makes it all but impossible to serve the Church the way a Priest needs to.
Do you really think a gay guy who wants sex with 16 year old altar boys will really wants to get married to a woman?
Right. Homosexuals are known for their celibacy and chaste lifestyles. LOL.
You stated..” Celibacy encourages homosexuals to apply for the priesthood”.....which isn’t correct.
Homosexuals are attracted to the catholic church because it’s been well known among homosexuals for decades they will be protected and the pickings are plentiful. Their community knows far more than what the laity often is in denial of.
Diehard Catholics venerate celibate clergy
They wont have that
They parse it
I heard Laura Ingraham and Raymond Arroyo claiming eastern rites were worse
