Realistically, political masters on all stripe prevent any military solution. Even if criminals as described in the article were put down hard tomorrow, pols still scratch their head pondering “what then”. Meanwhile they’ll proceed only to pick their nose and scratch their butt.
Reading the article, a readily viewed flic of a war worn but still good to go Crusader came to mind. A similar single-minded spirit will be needed to accomplish even a modicum of Crusader’s success.
Common enough mistake but that’s SEAL not Seals. Seals clap their fins and bark when tossed fish. Not being a SEAL, I have no idea what they do.
