It’s a very sad situation there and for 8 years the government received no help from Obama due to concerns about human rights. Of course no concerns about the kidnapping of 400 Chibok girls or the murder of 1000s by the Islamo-fascists.
Thankfully since 2017 the USA has been providing additional support to Nigeria to fight these ******. But the fight is ongoing as evidenced here.
