I have a feeling this may be a bleed over effect related to Washington & Lee University. As with most universities, W&L seems to be suffering from an internal coup by leftist academics. Sooner rather than later, they’re going to start demanding that R. E. Lee be wiped from memory. They’re already demanding that Lee Chapel be renamed.

Visit Lexington and stay at the Robert E. Lee Hotel. That’ll show them.

Duncan Richer, the spouse with the pink vagina hat in #12, teaches “ethics” at VMI:

And what major institution of higher learning is in Lexington? There is no bleed over into VMI.

Wife and I were in Lexington last week. I was a bit surprised that the Robert E. Lee hotel still stood old and proud but happy to see that. The historic district is nice and is dominated by restaurants, artist and other specialty shops. My wife (a very selective shopper) even found a dress to purchase and we ate lunch at a local restaurant. All of the shop owners were most pleasant. While I would never consider eating at the Red Hen, I’m not going to boycott the entire area because of one shop. If the other merchants banded together in support of the Red Hen, then I would boycott the general area.

They already are trying to erase Lee from memory. Though they were kind enough to recommend the school not be renamed “at this time.”

"As with most universities, W&L seems to be suffering from an internal coup by leftist academics."

You're not wrong on the Title IX front. Their coordinator combined a false accusation with a kangaroo court to expel a kid. That case is known as John Doe vs Washington & Lee University.

I hope that the new DeVos changes prevent any more kangaroo courts - or any thoughts of them.
