I dont think we should have made that change when we look back at it. But it happened because we were so frustrated because President Obama wasnt able to get his nominees, but I think we would have been in a better place now, she [Klobuchar] saidThe woman certainly has a firm grasp on the obvious. A quibble: “President Obama wasn’t able to get his nominees” because the Republicans had begun to use the same parliamentary tricks the Dems had first used to torpedo Alberto Gonzales’s confirmation. Let’s not forget that any so-called “decline in decorum” or “gamesmanship” or “destruction of longstanding tradition” always starts with the Dems. Klobuchar doesn’t get to blame the Republicans for reacting to Democrat perfidy.
