Note that most people from Arizona were indifferent.
The guy pretended that he was a representative of that state.
In reality, he simply used the state as a way to get back to DC as a Beeg Man.
He really was the Senator from Nowhere.

Ive seen three or four short clips of the McCain service, but Ive kinda noted that no Navy pilot, POW member, or shipmates....were speaking there. Or am I wrong? Just odd to think about. Well, truth be told, one pilot did...

Title of the article says it all.

I didn't see a single clip of anything associated with the multiple "funerals," but one thing that has stood out among all the quotes I've read is that there isn't a single mention of God, or even anything that would remotely be considered religious.
This was a funeral for a man and his followers whose faith begins and ends with the State.
They can have it. They may as well have laid McCain's body on top of a pile of driftwood and set it on fire.

I don't know why McCain thought he deserved a state funeral on the scale of a head of state. Maybe he thought he had to compete with Ted Kennedy's funeral?
If ever there were a former military aviator and Senator who deserved a state funeral, it was John Glenn. McCain should have taken his cue from there, and not tried to best the funerals of Presidents.
Are we going to have to do this forevermore, when people like Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, and Chuck Schumer pass, simply because they've been in Congress for a lifetime?

Quite a take down of the McCain legacy. Calm and rational, a well written piece.

Very telling. I think they knew what he did in his run for president, and how he sold out after losing so they wanted no part to do with the political theater of the service..
Also, they would have never let the sitting President be excluded to the deference of Obama, and Slick Willy who did little or nothing to honor the Services that allowed the freedom for fools to elect excuses like them to lead our country.

That ‘Bush-league’ pilot you referred to....wasn’t he sent out of the national guard?
