As Democratic senators fought to delay the hearing of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, and as spectators jarringly heckled the process Tuesday, his two young daughters were rushed from the hearing room, according to sources.
The two, Margaret and Liza, were taken out by their mother, Ashley, as the hearing got “hot,” said one insider.
“It was very unpleasant for young children,” said the insider.

Kavenaugh was a pass-through clerk for Bush is what it sounds like. The real people doing stuff would send it to him and he’d pass it through to Bush if he thought it was finished.
I don’t see how that would tell anything about what he actually thinks compared to what he actually wrote opinions on.
If he writes “complete” on something that’s controversial, then they’ll use that to say he agreed with it or didn’t speak up about it or whatever.
And since ideas were coming to a president from all over, those folks’ confidential positions would all be public.

I’m surprised they did not anticipate this, and have them watch on TV, at least to start. I understand that they are good for TV from our side, but I imagine Grassley already had his strategy set for letting them rant to start.
It would have been known to be so contentious that I’m not even really sure they should have wanted to have the kids watch it live. I mean, there will always be video of it for the future.
Before the Clintons were in office, congressional meetings were good civics lessons for children who were old enough to understand civics lessons. Our culture has devolved over the past 50 years because of the pushing by the doped up, counter-culture 68ers.
As if it weren’t official already: Democrats are the enemy. Not using hyperbole, they have become dangerous and unhinged....we owe the Left NOTHING resembling respect or civility....the few “good ones” aren’t worth trying to discern.
Clean the hearings up, including those Democrat members of Congress who get out of line. Throw them out, physically. Allowing the criminal disruptions is not conservative. It’s wrong.

I think the independent judiciary is a fantasy. Perhaps the founders didn’t see it turning out the way it has, but I’m convinced they should be elected and somehow by region of the nation based on the geographical coverage of each circuit court.
Personally, I think 6 years is enough. I’ll settle for 8. No reelection until sitting out a 6-8 year term.
