Pressley will become the first black woman to represent Massachusetts in Congress, after serving as the first black woman to serve on the city council. Capuano was a 10-term incumbent, representing a district covering an area stretching southwest from Boston. Capuano conceded Tuesday evening.

The race was compared to the Democratic primary in New York’s Fourteenth District, which also featured a woman of color, endorsed by the Justice Democrats, running against an older, white, male incumbent. But there were clear differences. New Yorker Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was a first-time candidate while Pressley has served on the City Council since her election in 2009. Although she was endorsed by progressive groups, Pressley, who has worked for Sen. John Kerry and supported Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, is not as far left as Ocasio-Cortez, a Democratic Socialists of America member who organized for Bernie Sanders. The two women met at a fund-raising event in New York in June, and Pressley referred to Ocasio-Cortez as her “sister in change.”

Thankfully,Massachusetts seems to lose a Congressional seat after each census.Soon,we’ll just be another Vermont or Delaware...which would be very good for the country.

The Crazies are winning some battles and when they scream impeach him we will hear them.

I stumbled across this map the other day (not that it's difficult to find).

Yuge changes in the EVs of many of the states since then....

A Stalinist beats a Marxist. Something to think about. Things are going the wrong way for the Mass. libs. If they even realize it.

The problem for the Democrats is that a good many of their voters fall into the Crazies category, i.e. the Berniebots. The Insane Democrats can’t keep pulling off the Houdini act and have people think they’re “moderate”, and they no longer have control over the Crazies.

“Thankfully,Massachusetts seems to lose a Congressional seat after each census.Soon,we’ll just be another Vermont or Delaware...which would be very good for the country.”

For the record, most of the RAT $hit that has fanned out over the country and settled in places like CA, NV, OR, WA and many other states were birthed in Massachusetts. So when you FReepers who have a perpetual hard on for CA get up on your soap boxes here, you might want to do some leg work and find out where our present RAT”Leadership” here came from. And yeah, I know Diane Fineswine is home-grown $hit. You can Google Adam Schiff and you will find out he took his first breaths in MA (Schiff was born in Framingham, Massachusetts) before making his way to our little NorCal town (Danville) where the POS went to high school before heading to Los Angeles to “put down his permanent roots.” And ole Nazi Peelousey is a product of Baltimore, MD, where her father was one of that city’s corrupt mayors ( but then aren’t they all).
So if you really want to get rid of the state that is more responsible than any other for the mess the country is in today, you need look no farther than Mass of Two $hitts. With all of it’s Liberal Trash Colleges and Universities (there are 28), it has be cranking out Marxists since before the turn of the last century.

My southern New Hampshire town borders Massachusetts - it’s time to ask my Selectmen to build a Wall.

Hilarious! Dims are nominating unelectable fringe candidates now. They think they’re going to have a “blue wave” when they can’t even get their own candidates to win their own primaries?!

I was in the same class in high school as Adam Schiff. I don’t remember him, so I can’t tell you if he was as obnoxious back then as he is now.

Both this candidate and Ocasio-Cortez are gorgeous and personable. Our capitalist republic rewards their talents, yet they want to transform our society to propagate otherwise.

It is heartbreaking how much the education system has failed us.
