I have great insurance and have been denied MRI for torn rotator cuff.
Soon as I’m done getting my teeth worked on, which is costing me thousands, in addition to lost income from the Pain of my Mom’s death 3 months ago.
The stress of the memories resulted in Shingles on the left side of head and behind my left eye.
Pain was excruciating.
I now wear dark sunglasses everywhere, even going to the car just to get something and occasionally while inside.
That shingles crap has forced me off work several times and waiting out the eye and head pain.
But, I’m back at work and killing my sales numbers so, I can pay for that MRI and get proof for the operation to ease the pain
So, the cost of medical care is killing me but, I ain’t dead and insurance covered a significant portion of the costs.
Yea, it is demoralizing when my elected representative ignores me. In my life, I’ve had exactly one Republican in Congress who I felt somewhat represented me. He was a one-term Senator.
That said, I never once resorted to threatening any of them with spurious arguments, especially stupid ones like “reverse Roe v. Wade and people die”

Insurance doesn’t save people from medical maladies... it merely protects your assets. People are not refused medical treatment in this country because of lack of funds.

If anything, this Kavanaugh confirmation has shown how powerless the Liberals are...and it will only get worse for them. The Libs haven't realized this yet, but they have lost big time.
