The Times today is taking the rare step of publishing an anonymous Op-Ed essay. We have done so at the request of the author, a senior official in the Trump administration whose identity is known to us and whose job would be jeopardized by its disclosure. President Trump is facing a test to his presidency unlike any faced by a modern American leader.
It’s not just that the special counsel looms large. Or that the country is bitterly divided over Mr. Trump’s leadership. Or even that his party might well lose the House to an opposition hellbent on his downfall.
The dilemma — which he does not fully grasp — is that many of the senior officials in his own administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations. I would know. I am one of them.
To be clear, ours is not the popular “resistance” of the left. We want the administration to succeed and think that many of its policies have already made America safer and more prosperous.
But we believe our first duty is to this country, and the president continues to act in a manner that is detrimental to the health of our republic.
That is why many Trump appointees have vowed to do what we can to preserve our democratic institutions while thwarting Mr. Trump’s more misguided impulses until he is out of office.

This is completely fake. It is obviously written by a leftist from the perspective of what he thinks a republican would sound like. I do think there are people who work in the White house who disagree with the president, but this “editorial” has too much obvious liberal propaganda to be a real person. It is pure fiction.

That little ol’ hand sign went from simply signaling to others you’re “OKAY,” to a playground game to, of all things, the current recognized sign of “White Supremacy” by the leftists. Nope... not using that one. Bless you’re heart. I mean, I guess we could use it just to show the left how stupid they are, but man, would it be painful. A couple of police officers just a bit north of where I live were suspended for showing that sign in a photo. I guarantee none of them realized the others were doing it because they were playing the game I alluded to earlier. The constituency and their boss didn’t see it that way and disciplined each of them. Pathetic.

I wait for it every day. Did you hear about the woman sitting behind Kavanaugh today who was accused of making a hand signal that was about white supremacy? Her husband is an attorney and has been posting on twitter to tell them to stop it. Apparently their baby daughter has been threatened....these people are seriously insane and beyond help.

Well, that and a few points in Bannon’s bio are similar to some of my own education and experiences.
