I’ve always laughed at that too. Is it the 5th bank named “3rd”? How many 3rd banks are there? What happened to the second and fourth banks? How many 2nd Banks did they get up to? Is there a 6th or 7th, 5th bank?

It was a merger of the 5th and 3rd National Bank in the old national bank system from what I’ve been told.
