The Democrats shot their wad over this nomination. What are they going to do when President Trump nominates a replacement for Ginsberg?

She is 85, time is not on her side.

One of the things that surprises me is why she did not retire when Democrats controlled both the White House and Congress.

A super liberal would have been nominated and approved regardless of any Republican objections.

Now if she dies leading up to the next Presidential election there may be calls to wait until after the election but I say why? If the Republicans have the votes then they should replace her when they have the chance.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

She thought Hilly was going to be President & wanted the first woman president to name her replacement.

A super liberal would have been nominated and approved regardless of any Republican objections.

That would have been true only between January 2009 and January 2010 (when the Democrats had a 60-vote filibuster-proof Senate, or between January 2013 and January 2015 (after the Reid Rule was in place but before the Republicans gained the majority in the Senate).
