One would think that if 50 Republicans are set to vote "aye" Chuckie would cut several Rats a break and let them,too,vote "aye".

But Chuckie,like the rest of the Rat Party leadership,is a disciple of Saul Alinsky so that might not happen.

I think Schumer is enough of a pragmatist to let his members break ranks on a fight they were never going to win. The activist base of the Dem party that both pays the major bills and provides the street muscle, not so much. Unfortunately for Manchin, Donnelly, et al. even Schumer has to placate those rabid commies.
