CHICAGO (AP) - U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions told an event for Chicago police that heeding the advice of those he dubbed "radicals" when it comes to police policy results in higher rates of violent crime.
The Chicago Tribune reports Sessions addressed an annual Chicago Police Memorial Foundation vigil held at Soldier Field late Wednesday. It honors police who died on duty.
Sessions said law enforcement should set policy on crime-fighting. He said "the last thing" anyone should do is, in his words, "follow the protestations of anti-police radicals and those who have never walked a beat."

AgitProp still has doubts that Auntie Faaaah is “radical”.
A decade ago they called all cops fascists and President Bush a fascist and rioted in Toledo Ohio.
Sessions is defending the FBI here. Just one more attack on Trump.
He’s still a lazy, a-hole, Deep State plant.
The DOJ is the brain and political nerve-center of Fed.gov. It is imperative a President has the most loyal people as AG to push their agenda, and protect their flanks
JFK had is own brother, Reagan appointed his friend Ed Meese. Obama played it better than anyone - by having fellow travelers Holder and Lynch, who were just as radical as he was. Obama even made sure his AGs were black, for extra loyalty.
Trump was not allowed to have his own AG. Sessions is not lazy - rather, he purposely stabbed Trump in the back, or was somehow forced on Trump. His pathetic “recusal” was done on the flimsiest of excuses, and gave a blank-check to Rosenstein and Mueller to maintain a constant threat against Trump, to protect the DOJ bureaucracy, Hillary’s many cronies, and the deep state.
Sessions is the epitome of GOP.
The eunech is one of the worst Americans ever. A genuine traitor to freedom. As are any of his few supporters.
The silent executioner, I like it and I am hoping you are right
