You must not know much about Federal law or contracting. Marijuana cultivation, possession, use, transfer, or sale are still illegal under U.S. Federal law. Federal contracts contain clauses that require employers maintain a drug free workplace, mandate drug testing for certain positions, and prohibit any employee from using illicit drugs, including the CEO. SpaceX and any other Musk organization that does business with the Federal government can be fined and barred from obtaining contracts. Individuals also can be civilly or criminally prosecuted.
