I admit to being at a loss as not only to what was accomplished by all this but what was even expected to be accomplished. Did they really think the committee was going to say, “Oh, there’s a person with a full-body condom sitting in the front row. We’d better not vote to approve this guy”?

They strongly discourage people from participating, particularly as nominees and candidates, but also discourage conservatives from actively participating in our constitutional freedom of speech and assembly. If you think they are going to beat you, do you go to the rally? Do you put a bumper sticker on your car, if they might scratch it?
