Cory Booker claims reporter violated Constitution with question on 'Spartacus' 'stunt'

Sen. Cory Booker claimed Thursday that a journalist with The Wall Street Journal was violating the Constitution by asking him a question regarding his failed “Spartacus” moment before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

The New Jersey lawmaker who made national headlines with his assertion that he was releasing confidential documents on Judge Brett Kavanaugh (which turned out not to be confidential), was in no mood to answer Byron Tau’s questions on it.

Mr. Booker seemingly referenced a Speech or Debate Clause of the Constitution to dodge a question on political theatrics.

“Democrats knew full well that the documents that Booker and Hirono released this morning were no longer confidential, according to D+R lawmakers and aides,” Mr. Tau tweeted. “I asked @CoryBooker if his remarks in committee were a stunt. He told me I violating the constitution by being in his way.”

The general idea is he is acting out to get his name out there to make a run for President.

I am just wondering at the thought process of the left. If you think the best way to get your party to notice you and think you would make a great president is to act like a complete fool...you might be a Democrat.

Booker couldn’t even get the accusation (which I’m certain was fed to him) correct. The passage he referenced mentioned being questioned, not ‘getting in the way of’.

The reporter could cause the Constitution to capsize by asking such a question.

Booker cares about the Constitution? Who knew? And even so, he gets it wrong. Epic fail.

Methinks that Cory Booker has never heard of the 1st Amendment. He can be asked ANYTHING, without the questioner being guilty of a crime. Whether he chooses to answer, or answer truthfully if he does, is another matter.

What is really going on here is that Booker tried to pull off a stunt, and got caught with his dingus hanging out because he is a moron for thinking that no one else can figure it out. Now he is (once again) being a moron be accusing a reporter of something that not only he knows is garbage, but that everyone else knows is garbage. He is once again assuming that HE is the sharpest knife in the drawer, when he is in reality a rectangular block of metal sitting next to a bunch of super-sharpened knives.

Booker is now not only walking around with his dingus hanging out, he’s cutting it off and making it seem like it is happening to anyone but him.

Yep. Leftists only apply rules when and where they want based on the expediancy on the moment. If they ever took power they the true facists would try to destroy us and america resulting in cw2 which is why they can never and will never acheive power again. The independents are freaked out by the left and will not vote for them.

No women in his life, and he’s a ridiculously effete drama queen (complete with constant jazz hands, eye-rolling, and Scarlett O’’Hara facial expressions ). His silly melodramatic mannerisms are not normal heterosexual male behavior.

He was asked by a reporter if he was gay. His answer: “So what if I was?” But he refused to directly answer the question. What do you think?

If he runs for POTUS, it will be fun. He will blow himself up over and over again, and it will be wildly entertaining.

It’ll also be fun replaying the irony of all of this dummy’s remarks.
