this is an abject waste of time and, what is infinitely more valuable, energy. she’s almost certainly going to be the nominee, and every once of strength exerted on this “natural born citizen” red herring is wasted, and can NOT be brought to bear to oppose her on her extremist policy views.
but I am supremely confident there will be as many “natural born citizen” threads as for obama, and wasting just as must energy, if not more.

Compared to Obama, this is a nothing Burger. He has never been naturalized and he was never a citizen. Until he got his ceremonial Senate passport.

That is exactly right. Assuming both parents came here legally, which in the early ‘60s they probably did.
But she is not “natural born” as noted here.
And as for her upbringing in Canada, it’s clear she was saturated with anti-American hate by the school systems in that country where all Canadians view Americans with dripping, disdainful contempt.

Both parents are foreign born, and neither parent was a U.S. citizen at the time of her birth. You have to live in this country for 5 years before acquiring American citizenship (only 3 if you are married to an American citizen, which neither was). She’ll probably claim she is an anchor baby and a citizen by being born here. DO AWAY WITH ANCHOR BABY CITIZENSHIP!

If that is true, then there would have been no need for Congress to grant Winston Churchill, Prime Minister of Great Britain, HONORARY US citizenship in 1963. His mother was an NBC, and he was born in GB.

When Churchill was born citizenship passed to children born overseas through the father. When Obama was born it was mother or father.
