“Yes, she is a undoubtedly a citizen of the US, but a “natural-born” citizen?”

The internet can debate the issue all it (we) want, but until this question is answered definitely it’s really a way to label her opponents on this issue as “conspiracy theorists”.

Specifically, we need the courts to rule positively that one needs not only to be born in the US to be an NBC, but also born of two citizen parents.

Until and unless that happens it’s a non starter. It’s an issue that should be addressed though because it’s just going to come up more frequently as we have more and more offspring from subsequent generations of barely legal if not outright illegal immigrants running for president.

.
The question was heard by SCOTUS while all of the sitting justices were founders.

They ruled that the child of a man that is a US citizen is himself born a us citizen, regardless of where he is born.

In the present political climate, the same would definitely be held for a woman.
