Either the NYSlimes fabricated the op-ed, OR the deep state (which they had disparaged as an alt-right conspiracy theory only a week prior) is actually real and in the process of waging a coup.

The editorial board then are either liars, or co-conspirators.

The consequences then need to be either a complete blow to the NYSlime's credibility, or the editor's bodies dangling from nooses, or rotting in prison after the trial and conviction for their part in sedition.
