People are sharing their honest opinions about the man, and yes, many do hold somewhat negative views of him. It just is what it is.
Ted is the only one who can improve his own public relations. Since the 2016 election, he's done nothing to rebuild his bridges to Texas Trump voters.
Now he finds himself in a race that shouldn't even be close, and he needs the President to pull his fat from the fire. Stop and think of what that says about the guy.
He has been backing the President’s agenda. He hasn’t been bitter and vindictive like McCain was. He didn’t vote against the ACA repeal just to stick it to Trump.

Personally, he appears to be using the Clinton playbook with about as much success as she did. His incompetent campaign manager isn’t helping either.
And Lyn’ Ted is playing the same sleazy fundraising scams as he did to much criticism in 2016. I have on my desk in front of me the latest “Official Washoe County Summons”, “Summons Enclosed - Open Immediately.” Some idiots never learn....
...Not defending Beto, but from a distance, the event and discussion make Beto more real. Lyn’ Ted is just unlikeable. He lied and lied about things, such as citizenship, health insurance, campaign funding, etc. Reeks of typical politician. He’s universally disliked by anyone he’s worked with. Sadly the facts....
...Cruz was always the RoveRINO’s “Tea Party mole” and part of Sundance/The Conservative Treehouse’s “GOPE Splitter Strategy” for JEB to win the nomination. Ted Cruz’s own campaign lied about having the numbers for the nomination... when they didn’t....
...You know, overall, Lyn’ Ted never apologized for his lies and actions, not once. Part of why he is so unlikable....

...Yep, and Lyn’ Ted was so trounced and discredited that he should have retired from the Senate to make way for a Trump Republican that could win. Now, instead, he’s a loser begging for President Trump’s help. Begging for it without ever coming clean on his lies, without stopping his shameful campaign tactics, without campaigning, etc. And here on FR, yes, we want Republicans to win, but too many people forgive, forget, ignore, and make excuses. The results are yours the next time he undermine’s Trump on amnesty, ObamaCare, the border, fair trade, etc....
