And, if a case involves a Clinton, will Ginsburg be expected to recuse?

Ginsberg has made her feelings about Trump clear on numerous occasions. There is no question that she hates Trump. If she she refuses to recuse herself, there is no reason than any Associate Justice on the right of the spectrum should ever think about doing so.

Kagan and Soto should recuse themselves in any cases that might possibly come up involving the administration that appointed them?

Among the various election night YouTube compilations is one of Marcus, ugly inside and out, at the moment Trump breaks the 270 EV threshold.

Does she acknowledge fact and history? Of course not. Instead, she moans about some nonexistent ‘endorsement’ from a nonexistent KKK.

“...can always site the Kagan Rule...”

and, once he puts it there, he can cite it.

RBG ... in the Muslim country ban case, she was on the side of the dissenters. Prior to this case, RBG made very public, political statements against Mr Trump. Why this is critical - one of the primary arguments against the travel ban was candidate Trump’s statements were allegedly anti-Muslim and therefore his travel ban was not constitutional. I cannot recall any major media discussion of this case asking whether a Supreme Court Justice whose prior statements of biased against the man for whom she strongly expressed her disdain should recuse herself from this case and in any matter involving the President.

“Dems retreated after the civil rights era among others, but their tactics from that regrouping/retreating time are now blossoming into full socialism and all that comes with it.”

Perhaps. But today’s Dems do not retreat. They team up with Hollywood and the “mainstream” media to try to overturn elections that disappoint them. They have been doing this since Nixon. They don’t back down, they never retreat.

Then Ruth Nader Ginsberg should resign from the court for the things she has said in speeches about President Trump and our Constitution

OK OK they are not retreating now ... but if they lose the fall elections big time, watch how fast they go into hibernation ...

Nixon sucked anyway and started a mess that destroyed the US fishing industry, not to mention the creating the EPA on a whim while touring the San Juans.

Why just Kavanaugh? Why not Gorsuch as well? /sarcasm
<p.
That way the liberals have the advantage on anything Trump.

I got an idea. How about you let Trump run the executive branch and try to make an argument in the next election that you would do a better job than he has done and would do in the future? These people have lost their collective minds.

Great point.

Exactly what Trump cases were the Senators thinking about that might come before the court? Of course Kavanaugh would respond he cannot speak about what he might do in a case that might appear before him, including the consideration for recusal.

But even if Kavanaugh promised in blood to always recuse himself from such cases, even after Mr Trump no longer serves as President, not one of these democraps would vote his nomination for the Court.

It’ll be funny if there is a nomination in 2019 and the Repukes just push him through while the Dems complain about them not doing that in 2016. Mitch can say, “look I was wrong in 2016, Garland should have gotten a vote and if I could go back and do it again I’d make sure he got an up or down vote.”

Ginsburg can judge cases involving President Trump in spite of her open hostility. What hypocrisy!

I hope you are right, but I expect protests, media tears and rants, and more movies and books.

To: I want the USA back

Maybe the “unusual circumstances” is referring to ...the use of the federal government audit Trump’s taxes in an election year, to use FISA to spy on him, passing the questions to HRC prior to the debates, stuffing ballot boxes, falsifying pre-election poll results to suppress Republican voting, .... So to them it was unusual that despite all that the US was denied is blessing of anointing the first woman, the most qualified candidate in the history of the world to be President.

Lefties will have it both ways. After an hour of listening to what an idiot GW was and yet he organized the rest of the free world to support a war in Iraq, I asked how he could both be an moron and mastermind. Answer: he's an idiot savant.
True story.
