How much rain have the NC mountains had already this year?
The area around the Blue Ridge mountains in Central Virginia has already experienced record rainfall this year. 3-4 ft of additional rain is not something I even want to think about right now.
The heavy rainfall in PA this weekend is due to the remnants of TS Gordon, which made landfall Sept. 4, way down south at the MS/AL border.
