A long-anticipated plan to enforce the largely ignored public charge provisions of the nation’s immigration laws that require prospective immigrants and visa holders to be able to support themselves without relying on government aid could be unveiled by the Trump administration as soon as this month.

This is exactly how immigration was once handled in the United States in the beginning of the last century. Additionally one had to have a sponsor who would be held financially responsible should the new immigrant not be able to support themselves. No financial public support was available for their first 5 years and in addition to these requirements immigrants had to have a real skill that would benefit America. There was no living off the public dole as it is widely practiced today. Return to those days and Make America Great Again.

I am a retired US citizen living in an Asian country. Every year when I renew my retirement visa, the permission to remain here, I have to prove to the satisfaction of the immigration police that I am self-supporting or they would bounce me out of here. It's not a free ride and you are either self-supporting or go on home.

Can't imagine why any country would welcome freeloaders unless there was some motive?

1)Like the DemonRats recruiting new voters?

2)Or the modern day DemonRat plantation owners wanting fresh slaves to work for wages so low no American could live on it?

3)And US citizens subsidizing the new slaves, providing housing, healthcare and public education for their sprong so they will grow-up stupid and continue to vote DemonRat?

I look forward to the law being vigorously enforced!
