In the 70s I was driving in a cab in Gainesville Fl when I got robbed by a pair of homosexual ex-cons, ex by five days. They just couldn’t wait to go back to the Big House. The world is more familiar there.
Had a family member shot by an ex-con during a robbery. Family member survived. The ex-con had been out something like 3 days.
Finally, a few years after that I bought my first pistol and learned how to shoot. Hope I never need it for self-defense.
