“”””””Negotiations over the terms of his departure accelerated following a new report Sunday in the New Yorker magazine, which detailed six women’s allegations of sexual misconduct involving Moonves in the 1980s and 1990s. I read that he’s getting $100 million to pack it in. Pretty nice retirement package. Seems to me that being a predator can pay off nicely.

So all these accusations stem from the time Moonves was married to his first wife? None after he dumped the first one for Julie Chen? Just curious.

This nervy dude actually went to court to take the Redstone’s company away from them, because he disagreed with them. GasBagarino didn’t understand that was un-American. It is the ultimate Karma that hes going to walk with squat and face charges.

Get set for some of those Trump-like hush money payments and see how readily they are accepted by the same idiots who think Trump is such a horrible person for illegally doing it.

Les Moonves is a bad person. And all conservatives should rejoice that he is gone. Les considered his job to be “shaping public opinion.”
He was the inner circle of the elite. Les kept the news room liberal but not too liberal. He kept the TV shows mildly liberal while appearing to be wholesome.

At a graduation speech at Bucknell two years ago he was frank. He told the students that shaping and changing public opinion was one of the things he liked most about his job. And threw out a few examples about gay marriage and immigrant rights. So I figure we have gotten rid of a hidden propagandist. A new one will take his place. But at least he will be out in the open. And probably not as good at it.

What I can’t figure out is why in the world would you want to work in an industry where this behavior is the norm?

Moonves and Michael Jordan were running Westinghouse into the ground when Westinghouse bought CBS. They sacrificed a great company to put themselves in charge of CBS. Wouldn’t think Moonves has gained any moral standing since then.
