I thought Ireland was content with belong to the EU, as with Scotland. Apparently, there is dissatisfaction.
I don’t generally hear much about either Ireland or North Ireland except that both are being filled up with Muslim immigrants. What could possibly go wrong?
Not everyone in Ireland goes along with the groupthink. Although clearly it isn’t enough as yet, given those vile referendum results within the past few years.
Scotland’s socialists with the big mouths get the most press, obviously. I find it disturbing that one particular socialist party in Scotland is called the “Scottish National Party”, given what is signified when nationalism and socialism combine.
Herman Kelly is from County Derry, which is in Northern Ireland, but there are still quite a few independence-minded people there. Northern Ireland is the only part of the island where abortion remains illegal, but the left is trying to chip away at that coming from the Irish Republic and mainland Britain.
After that abortion thing, Ireland can leave the entire planet as far as I’m concerned.
I loved that place too. Oh well.
He said: The relative advantages of being in the EU have decreased; and now that we are a net contributor of 400 million a year to old drunk men who make our laws, I think were crazy to stay in.
So as long as they received billions and billions, it was OK (so what if the EU is a totalitarian construct run by old drunk men). Now...take the money and run, baby!
