Not crazy about people on our side talking about ‘wealth inequality.’
People have what they have and earn what they earn and inherit what they inherit.
As gun confiscation is the only reason for gun registration, discussing wealth inequality is merely a pretext for ‘correcting’ it.
The trouble is, we’ve had a systematic program of de-industrialization of America thanks to “free trade” and a financialization of the economy (i.e. speculation rather than investment and production-driven). This, together with illegal immigrant labor, has basically hollowed out the US middle class and moved us close to the type of class structure typical of banana Republics, with all of the social problems that go along with it.
