I think the NY Times got trolled by a basement dweller who knows how to spoof names and numbers on a burner phone. It’s his contribution to the resistance, and the libs believed him because they want to believe him.

Plenty of people have speculated, but the op-ed writer's identity remains a mystery.

Why are these White House people falling for this gaslighting ploy created by the President-hating New York Times?

If the shade-throwing Op Ed was not written by Bob Woodward he certainly was in on the proof-reading. This fake N Y Times document has been created to dovetail with publication of Woodward's anti-Trump tome slated to come out in a few days.

A serious investigation of the Times editorial board should have been initiated by the U.S. Justice Department into this newspaper's attempt to fraudulently unseat an elected Head of State.

In other words, this craftily weaponized example of a journalistic stiletto is aimed at the heart of President Donald J. Trump sitting in the Oval Office of the White House.

This New York Times' Op Ed--written anonymously and submitted to the newspaper by "some anonymous person" creates an open-and-shut case that the New York Times is very consciously suborning Sedition--a "seditious document" is one containing matter calculated to undermine the elected authority of the State.

President Trump's Department of Justice has the authority to temporarily shutter the New York Times to prevent further seditious activity and to investigate the person or persons guilty of this well-organized attack on the American Presidency by certain law-breakers running The New York Times.

Odd that she does not even have an idea who wrote the op-Ed.
Never trusted her. And still don’t.

I heard a theory yesterday that it was set up by Mc Cain prior to his death. I’d suggest his dip shit daughter wrote it.

Many reasons to think she may be a prime suspect:

a leading candidate is nobody because it is a hoax dreamed up by Woodward after reading about Q as an attempt to validate his own book since everyone in it claims he is lying.

I have several theories about this:

1. The NYT made the whole thing up (as much as I despise them, I don't think this is the case).

2. There isn't one "senior administration official" who authored it, but a compilation of quotes and secondhand references from multiple people that gives a message completely out of context.

3. The op-ed was written by a real person who actually does work in some capacity in the Trump administration.

4. [THIS IS MY TOP THEORY RIGHT NOW] ... The op-ed was written by someone who was a Trump administration official, but left office months ago ... maybe even last year. The thing is full of such vague references that -- with one exception that I explain below -- it's hard to pin it down to a specific time in the last 18 months.

So here's my theory, folks ...

The only item in this op-ed that makes it contemporaneous is the reference to John McCain in a past tense ("We may no longer have Senator McCain ..."). The op-ed was written 6-10 months ago by someone in the Trump administration who worked with the NYT through an intermediary for vetting and verification. The person doesn't work in the administration anymore, and could be someone as senior as Rex Tillerson or Gary Cohn.

The op-ed was written for the New York Times sometime after John McCain disappeared from public view ... with the understanding that it would be published with the reference to McCain in the past tense shortly after McCain's funeral.

Call me crazy, folks -- but I think there's a pretty decent chance this is exactly what has happened here.

A leading candidate is Fiona Hill, hired by since-fired H.R. McMaster and currently the NSC’s Senior Director for European and Russian Affairs. Ms. Hill spent six years with Soros’s Open Society Foundations, and has been a vocal critic of President Trump.

... and check out the bitch’s background. She graduated from University of St. Andrews. MI6 recruitment central. She’s a British spook.

So woodward writes a “tell all” book and suddenly we have a deepthroat wannabe in a senior position in the WH?

I agree, it is a hoax. They want to try to force Amendment 25 before Trump releases the FISA documents.

I listened to Bob Woodward today on this subject.
I honestly think he wrote it to give credence to his book.
He got an intermediary to lie about a “senior official” being the author or he himself was the intermediary.

Jon Lovitz doesn’t work at the WH by any chance?

I asked Church Lady who it was, and she just said, “Satan.”

Wow. That’s one way to look at it.

Hate to sound cynical, but that’s entirely possible. I understand her husband is not exactly an advocate for President Trump.

Pillow talk and all that.

I could much more easily believe that Max Boot sockpuppeted Fiona Hill. The author is not the raw source; it has been congealed into lark's aspic by a ghost writer and a NYeT editor.

Using the long dash -- like I do -- is a thing, man. It's a habit I cannot break.

Hill's stuff is all comma, comma, and Oxford comma. Boot is a long dash abuser from way back. Also as I pointed out to Cernovich, the final author editor reeks of beta male.

In all likelihood it's a small circle of comrades - not a group exercise but an idea surmounted over a private dinner...which guarantees they'll be discovered.

The NYeT preface to the op-ed screams 'we're publishing this because we know the author will be discovered shortly and we will sell papers/views as a result'.
