A Dallas police officer who fatally shot her neighbor in his apartment, claiming she mistook the unit for her own, told the authorities that the door was already ajar when she entered and that she shot him after he ignored verbal commands

Yeah, when a police officer enters my home without permission or warrant and issues "verbal commands", there's a problem and it's not with me. This officer's story stinks more every day.

She needs to be convicted and jailed. She broke into the guy's house, gave him orders, then shot him. Too bad he wasn't armed to shoot and kill her first.

I am curious to see if she was drunk or high at the time. Not an excuse, should add more to sentence if she was impaired and armed IN UNIFORM.

He allegedly ignored verbal commands and did what? Pulled a gun? A knife? Did he physically attack her? I would imagine the victim was completely blown away, going about his business in his own residence one second and then whammo!
