I can’t find a single article talking about whether or not the company received any bribes...er, incentives to site there. If he company did get money to site there, I bet local and county taxpayers will be in for a rude surprise. And ain’t it interesting that media outlets are not covering the incentives angle. It’s part of the game. Do you want the nice manufacturing plant? Do you want it more than the city two states over? If you don’t make an offer, you stay poor and the new jobs go somewhere else. Play that way consistently, and your residents with skills go somewhere else too. Then you’re left with a community of unemployed and unemployable welfare leeches. You may not like the game, but if you are a business looking to cut costs and a local government looking for jobs, you play it.
